Update a SIP credential

Updates the password for a credential in a specified credential list. Provide the account, credential list, and credential identifiers, then send the new password in the request body. The password must be at least 12 characters and contain at least one digit and mixed case.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

The 34-character identifier of the credential list, beginning with `CL` followed by 32 hexadecimal characters.

The 34-character identifier of the credential, beginning with `CR` followed by 32 hexadecimal characters.

Credential update details. You can provide a new password.

Passwordstringoptional
The password that the username will use when authenticating SIP requests. The password must be a minimum of 12 characters, contain at least 1 digit, and have mixed case. (eg `IWasAtSignal2018`)

Error handling

The AccountSid path parameter must be a 34-character identifier beginning with AC followed by 32 hexadecimal characters; the CredentialListSid path parameter must use the CL prefix, and the Sid path parameter must use the CR prefix. If you provide Password, it must be at least 12 characters and contain at least one digit and mixed case.
