Update a queue

Updates the name or maximum size of a queue. Use AccountSid and Sid to identify the queue, and supply FriendlyName, MaxSize, or both to change its settings. The response contains the updated queue object.

The account SID, in the format `AC` followed by 32 hexadecimal characters.

The queue SID, in the format `QU` followed by 32 hexadecimal characters.

Queue settings to update. Both fields can be omitted.

A descriptive string that you created to describe this resource. It can be up to 64 characters long.
MaxSizeintegeroptional
The maximum number of calls allowed to be in the queue. The default is 1000. The maximum is 5000.

200Returns the updated queue object, including its SID, account SID, friendly name, current size, maximum size, average wait time, and creation and update dates.

Error handling

The AccountSid path parameter must be a 34-character account SID beginning with AC followed by 32 hexadecimal characters, and the Sid path parameter must be a 34-character queue SID beginning with QU followed by 32 hexadecimal characters. FriendlyName can be up to 64 characters, and MaxSize must not exceed 5000; it defaults to 1000 when omitted.
